There is a lot of talk that this is not as good as “Hit After Hit”. OK. That’s fine. “Hit After Hit” was one of the top ten releases of 2002 and gave punk a fresh look at the late 70s and early 80s. But don’t be discouraged from buying this! I think part of the deal is that those of us who were so hyped on their debut, have bought all those oddball 7”s that came out since and quite a few of those songs are also featured on here. So there isn’t that 11 songs you weren’t familiar with to knock you off your feet sort of feeling. I jumped the gun and bought the regular, black vinyl copy. There is a limited gatefold version on white vinyl, limited to 1,000 copies. Oh well.
