"Anatomy Is Destiny"

This is the best metal disc of 2004 thus far. I hold this CD up there with Carcass' "Necroticism - Descanting the Insalubrious" (my favorite all-time in the genre of gore/death metal). I would also put it right next to the best Cannibal Corpse has to offer. It has everything you'd expect; crazy fast beats, multi layered & varied growling vocals, heavy riffs, bizzare gore lyrics and amazing production. The guitar leads and tempo changes remind me of Carcass, they are that brilliant. While I compare them to Carcass, Exhumed still sounds fresh and relevant. This is the real deal, you can't fake this sort of technical energy. "Anatomy Is Destiny" is a relentless, powerful gore/death metal classic. I have listened to this so many times, it has become a mainstay in my car CD player (fondly takes me back to the early 90s when so many classic death releases ruled my car's cassette player). This makes me so happy.
