FFG combine the unrestrained raw blues punk of say the Laughing Hyenas, with the frantic style of say the Crucif*cks, with the entire Estrus catalog. Sounds scary don’t it. Produced by legend Tim Kerr, they also do “Shake It Oh Yeah”, a variation on a theme originally written by Scared of Chaka (much under-appreciated band, the song is on the Crossing With Switchblades cd).

This is a crazy serving of garage mayhem. The vocalist reminds me of one of the DC punk legends out of his mind. I can’t recall which one. But it’s there. The guitars are spastic. The energy is affecting. Makes one want to throw various substances around and watch them break into bits and pieces while shouting random obscenities.
