Funch have been kicking around for a decade. "Gasping For Air" is the New Jersey band's 5th release. Their longevity and consistency demonstrates their passion for music. The enjoyment they get out of it comes through in this recording. Funch combines the energy of the early 80s Southern California punk, bar room rock and roll, along with traditional melodic NJ influences like the Misfits and Sticks and Stones. They rock through 14 tracks, including great versions of "1970" and "Long Tall Sally".
