It is hard to believe that it has taken this long for the Government Issue demo to be released in this format. Recorded in 1980, we are treated to 3 never before released songs and 8 songs that are near and dear to anyone who was involved in hardcore punk in the 80s. The recordings are traditionally raw. Just how it was done back then. If you don't know Government Issue, I doubt you will enjoy this release, but I would suggest that they are a band worthy of looking into as G. I. is one of my all time favorite bands. Their later releases ran the range of hardcore to alternative rock, without ever sacrificing that special something. If you are a fan, then this is a definite must own treasure that will bring a big smile to your face. Available in several different vinyl colors.
