This was Jesse from D-Generation’s band when he was 12 (damn that means he is younger than I am). Hardcore was being born back then (in 1980). Heart Attack eventually added more of a punk sound to their hardcore roots. I remember getting the “Keep Your Distance” 12” and just loving it to death. I loved that early raw NY HC sound. This contains the well sought after 7” that I have never even seen. It also includes the two other 12”s (which I luckily got when they came out, else I probably wouldn’t have seen them either). There are also demo tracks and extra songs, recorded at the same sessions but never saw the light of day (until now). This is a great document of some great old, raw, hardcore punk.
