Early 80s NYC raw punk, just like you remember it. Unsophisticated recording, lots of unrestrained energy and undeniable rawness. This package compiles recordings from 83-89 in various lineups (some ex-members were in Chronic Disorder). It’s pure KBD punk and includes the tracks from “I Kill Hippies” which made the Spin Magazine top 100 punk singles of all time. At times this reminds me of just about anything on Big City Records along with influences from many of the early rock n roll punk bands of NYC. “I Want to Die” even reminds me a bit of Turbonegro.
