Hector, Jesse & the Gatecrashers

“EP”

7", Rockin House Records

Jesse Hector and the Gatecrashers (no relation to the Lehigh Valley Gatecrashers) play late 70s punk rock, with the stress on the rock, as it would be played in a punk rock bar. The production is very authentic sounding. It sounds like it was recorded in the late 70s, reminding the listener how great and vital that whole sound remains today. TJ likes Alan Jackson’s version of “Summertime Blues”, but I prefer this one. If the name Jesse Hector sounds familiar, you probably remember the Hammersmith Gorrillas from the late 70s (releases on Raw and Chiswick).
