Bad records are sometimes great documents. While the Negative FX lp released on Taang is a hardcore must have, this EP is one for the collector only. The music is definitely of 1982 demo quality, sounding as if it were recorded by a boombox. The session is a bit sloppy, even by 1982 hardcore standards. It works well for me, because listening to this and looking at the 7" cover takes me back to 1982, one of the most amazing years of my life. I suggest everyone own the Negative FX lp, it stands as a definitive piece of hardcore history.
