Originally released on the mighty Gern Blansten back in 2001, this reissue includes an extra track, “Action Items” and serves as the primer for the disc they have just recorded with J. Robbins (who else). This Brooklyn based emo rock band reminds me of locals Jazz June and a host of DC inspired emo bands. PtGs energetic rock drive and melodic gifts are a welcomed listen. No screaming and metal riffing that seems far too overused these days in the genre. PtG back up their style with great songwriting and execution. One of the best of the genre out there right now.
