“You'r So Boring”

LP, Dropkick Records

From Sydney Australia, this is a true gem. The first side is the original "KBD (killed by death)" 6 song ep. Only 500 copies were issued in 1978 on Point Blank Records and kbd fanatics drop cash on this record like it is a share of Google stock. The b-side includes two tracks from a compilation called "Not So Humdrum" from 1984, a track from "Swinging From the Trees" compliation from 1987, 2 tracks from a never released 7" as recorded by the original lineup as well as a live track from 1977.

Whew! This whole thing was reissued already on CD on Brain Salad Surgery Records and you may have forgotten that you had three of these tracks on the classic "Feel Lucky Punk" compilation LP.

What is it? Well let me tell ya, it is buzzsaw, basic punk rock that could have easily come from NYC or Texas, but came from Australia. Totally worthy of KBD status. The production is amazing. Sounds like first Ramones buzzsaw, but with a different accent. Early UK 80s punk. The clarity in the production makes these tracks fresh, even in 2007. I love this record! If you like punk, you should own this.
