For the uneducated, this is Turbonegro at it’s rawest, punkest, evilest and most furious. This album is a total release, and exorcism of raw energy. Every song is a classic. At this point, certain people around the world will not recognize your existence unless you have this CD. “I Got Erection” is quite possibly the most evil song ever.

For all of us Turbojugend, the videos included “Get It On” and “Are Your Ready (For Some Darkness)” kill. There is something else on here for “The Age of Pampaius”, but I couldn’t open it on my PC, which I think was bought about the same time this CD originally came out. I think I have to upgrade some software or something. Anyhow, this is a huge rock and punk album. Turbonegro took things to a new level of hugeness. A maturation that for once, didn’t diminish a band. The sound is big, the power is big and the songs, once again, all classic!

When I heard the news that Turbonegro would have a new CD, it was one of those eyes wide-open moments. “Ass Cobra” and “Apocalypse Dudes” are two of my all time favorite albums by any band. “Scandinavian Leather” continues on with Turbonegro’s adeptness at creating their brand of “deathpunk”. Combing evilness, sexuality, tongue in cheek humor, Stooges-like rock, power punk, and a professionalism and confidence that is impossible to ignore. Their latest is yet another masterpiece. You will be singing along to “Drenched In Blood” no matter what your disposition for blood may be. You will be speaking the praises of Euroboy’s deft guitar work. This is a perfect line up. “Ride With Us” sounds of pure power and evil. The combination of strategic keys in various songs on this disc works wonders. Everyone is in this band is amazing at what they do. I have not heard a basic power chord riffing sound as powerful as the one in “Wipe It Til It Bleeds” in a long time. Turbonegro take the history of punk and rock and make the basic sound "perfect". Back from the dead, Turbonegro are back as powerful as ever,The CD of the year benchmark has been set.
