This CD documents the Eastern Connecticutt and Western Massachusetts punk scene from 1979-1983. Being involved in the punk movement for more nearly three decades, I always dig releases like this. Mostly lo-fi recordings, mostly bands young in their musical education, and all giving that real garage punk feel. There are a few bands on here that you may have heard of such as 8th Route Army, Reducers, M-80's, The Outpatients and Chronic Disorder (those are the one I was familiar with). That is not to say that those are the only worthy bands here. All 20 tracks capture exactly what was going on back then, a musical revolution that captured every corner of the US (and many other countries).
