"Kill A Generation"
CD, Dr. Strange Records, May 2004
California hardcore (as in the early early 80s definition of hardcore) with an obligatory Sin 34 influence. The snarling, snotty vocals of Adri shine through as the focus of this band. I seriously thought this was a reissue of some early 80s SoCal HC thrash band that I somehow missed. Some "killed by death" collector thing. If you dig, fierce, thrashy, raw and aggressive hardcore you would be wise to check this out. There isn't much polish here, which gives it that roots, 1-2 hardcore feel that is so missing from a lot of today's overproduced and overly technical bands. They've toured the US with the Subhumans, Defiance and Lower Class Brats. The CD was originally released a year ago on Black Noise and sold out. Dr Strange remixed, remastered, gave it some new artwork and included an extra song in this reissue (so yeah it is a reissue, just not a 24 year old reissue).
