W.E.D are Arizona screamo youthcrew. Hardcore emo that utilizes youthcrew mosh parts and group sung parts. That's a pretty simple description but Where Eagles Dare (I hear no Misfits influence) are real good at what they do. I could see the kids going crazy for this, karate kicking til their hearts content reaching for the microphone screaming along with every lyric. But being an old guy, lyrics like "the next time that I see you, I'm going to lose my voice, screaming at the top of my lungs, that I love you" (from "Intensive Care Unit") make me roll my eyes. Just saying. But if this is your thing, I see no faults; the production is crisp, the pace ripping, the screamo screaming, the youthcrew young and the emotions on the sleeve. Knock yourself out. I appreciate and enjoy this level of passion.
